Congratulations goes out to two outstanding students that auditioned for, and were subsequently accepted into, two prestigious ensembles. Ryan, a piano student of mine for several years, became the pianist of the Pennsylvania District 7 Jazz Band (the “A” band), and Parker, a trumpet student of a year-and-a-half (and just a freshman in high school), joined the trumpet section of the Pennsylvania District 7 Band. Both students were also selected by their schools to participate in their respective country band festivals. Needless to say, I am very proud of these young people for their musical accomplishments!
